1920 armchair "Le Surrepos du Docteur Pascaud"
Rare reclining armchair "Le Surrepos du Docteur Pascaud", 1920s.
Original fabric that can be replaced with something more modern.
It certainly doesn't go unnoticed.
France, circa 1925, natural beech, iron, padded and covered with fabric, wooden wheel for adjusting the backrest and seat. This mechanical chaise longue was an inspiration for Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand when they worked on their idea of creating a continuously adjustable chaise longue, which eventually resulted in their famous "Tilt Chaise Longue", made of tubular steel.
